Don’t Connect

I’ve installed, but the system don’t connect. I left more than 2 hours and nothing. I tried to re- install and no working. Sorry

Will not connect. Status is “Connecting… CID:0"

I use this app between my iPhone 6 (AtHome v3.3.0) and iPad 2 (AVS v3.2.1) with both running iOS 9.3.2 all the rime with no issues, but on my mac all it says is “Connecting…” with a CID: 0. The QR will not work but if I find the cam on my local net it finds it and I enter the name and password, but all I see is a black screen saying "Live video is buffering…” on my iPhone and “connecting" on my iMac. Ironically, in my list of cams on the iPhone it shows a picture of what my iMac camera sees and has a CID listed for that camera. Also, if I quit and reopen the app on my iMac, it does not save the settings I saved prior to quitting. Everything, except Camera Name “Cam0” is blank upon re-open. I hope they fix this issue. My iMac is a 24" Mid 2007 and it is running OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 in 64 bit. The AtHome Streamer is v3.1.1.

It was great when I first downloaded it over a year ago…. what the H### happened??!!!

as of now, basically useless unless you sit and watch it on your device the whole time. It USED to work great, though Ive no idea whats happened here, they seem to have destroyed all functionality with updates!! When I first used it back in summer ’15, it would push notifications to my iPhone 5S, anytime motion was detected in the areas I had my computers set up in. It would send me an email notification as well which I actually shut off cuz it got annoying…. had to change the sensitivity level of the motion detect as id be getting notifications every 10 mins from a shadow or something lol. I have been running it on an older iMac and a newer MacBook Pro Stopped using it for a while and tried to start again about 6 months ago and at first had the same issues other describe, black screen, not connecting etc. then that was fixed and it connects however, I never get notifications, neither push or email, have tried everything. On my phone, it will not show any videos to watch when ive set up a scheduled or motion detect schedule. It will show me on the computer that there is videos that have been recorded but they are unable to play. AND THE KICKER IS THAT NOW THEY ASK YOU TO PAY FOR FEATURES ETC! if it worked like it did before, I actually would! dang….

how about updating this app please

this app has not had an update in 3 years. come on guys.

Bad Coding??

Downloaded the app on my Mac as well as my iPhone. Both up to date. But the Mac App continues to generate a CID code that isn’t long enough to poperly pair the devices.

App is in chinese ? Jap ? I’m french

Since the update, the app is in a different language, chinese or japanese. The settings panel is deactivated. I no longer understand… Quick update please !

Allthrought i dowloaded the new update, i still got No CID (CID:0) nothing works now …. got an idea ?

OS Compatibilty inaccurate

This version as well as version 2.0.4 (from the Developer website) seem to require 10.7.x, not the stated 10.6.6. Problem number one...

Wow! That was SO easy to hook up and use! Thanks for that. I wish there was also a sound activation, not only motion.

Doesn’t scan the QR Code from phone app.

Looks like a good app, if you could set it up! Won’t scan the QR code from the app on my iPhone 6.

Won’t connect

CID: 0, Sits as “connecting” all the time, no username, camera, password given. Even if you scan the bar code the ‘camera’ pops up but it will never connect it will always say it’s offline. PC version looks like it got fixed. But this version isn’t functional at all. What did you even fix in this new update?

After upgrade to 3.0 it’s not connecting anymore (high CPU!!!)

After updating the app to v3.0 is not working anymore. It stays in the connecting status “Connecting….” and never completes. Also the CPU goes up (on my MacBook 500%). Before the update everything was working great fine!!!!! Not anymore…..

The app doesn’t work. It keeps saying: “Connecting”. Don’t waste you money.

Amazing. How someone can ruin a perfect product. After an upgrade noone felt the need for, it never worked again!!!

Very Buggy

It seems to only work with default settings. Changing any setting causes application to fail. Example: I tried to change the folder where motion captured videos are stored. First, it ignored the change until I quit and restarted the app. After restarting, motion detection didnt work again (even thought it indicated that it was still set) until I disabled, then reset from scratch on my iPhone (odd that there is no way to set these settings directly in the server app). After re-establishing the motion capture settings, the server indicated that it was recording, but no recorded file was created, either in the folder I had set or in the apps default folder. Im thinking Im going to have to delete this apps preference file and start from scratch, but it isnt worth the aggravation. If theses settings that I want dont stick and they dont continue as I set them after quitting and restarting the app, then this app is useless. On the good side, the iPhone app is very nice…nice interface. And when the video streaming works, it looks good and smooth. The problems are entirely with this server app, in my opinion. Improve the server and Ill give it another try.
